Our bespoke wedding bouquet pieces offer a gentle sentimentality that is harmonious with nature. The essence of your day delicately expressed through the romance of silk.
The story behind each flower, and the world in which they bloomed, influences how they react as a dye material. Typically, white roses may result in soft sienna/golden tones, natives may shift to umber/orange/earthy tones, and red roses may gift blush/purple tones.
Similarly, there is a divine beauty in impermanence. The fastness of natural dyes will differ from piece to piece, and some may fade over time, just as nature intended.
Flowers may be sent to us fresh or dried at any time via post or they can be dropped off at our studio. Any other sentimental flowers or special clippings from the gardens of relatives or friends may also be included as desired.
This offering is only available to customers within South Australia. However, our beautiful heirloom natural dye kits are available Australia wide so you can do-it-yourself from home. See below.

Learn how to create your own heirloom silks with our natural dye kits. A beautiful way to explore the craft from the comfort of your own home or as an ode to the divine milestones of life.
Each kit includes:
Step by step instruction document and links to video demonstrations.
Safety instructions for working with natural dye materials.
Circular natural dye tools including steamer basket and rolling tool. These are intended for return upon completion of your project but may also purchased outright for an additional fee.
Silk scarf – pre-scoured and ready to dye. Additional silk pieces such as bandanas or scrunchies may also be purchased.
Silk ribbons ties and string for bundling your pieces during the dye process.
Additional references and resources for natural dyeing.
