The makers toolkit

In your kit sent from out studio you will be supplied with the following

  • Silk Scarf

  • String or fabric ends to tie off with

  • Wooden roller guide

  • Steam basket

  • Pegs (optional to use)

You will need:

  • A dye pot bigger than 26cm circumference (to fit the steam basket). Note: This can not be a pot you use for cooking, check your local op shop or ask a relative if they have an old pot.

  • Vinegar, i use apple cider but you can use what you have at home (if you have a spray bottle that is helpful but not necessary).

  • An old tea towel or heat proof mitts.

  • A well ventilated space for your pot

  • Rubber bands optional*
