Botanically hand dyed on Kaurna Land, Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia by natural textile artist Phoebe Hunter using circular design principles.

Materials: 100% Silk + Natural rubber elastic + organic cotton thread, dyed with eucalyptus leaves.

About Botanical Dye
Botanical dying or natural dye is the process that uses leaves, roots, flowers, and other organic matter to dye colour to fabric. It has been practised for thousands of years, it was how all our clothes were dyed pre-synthetics.

Signature:

Phoebe's signature print is a particular combination of eucalyptus leaves, creating a contemporary + timeless design. Each one differs slightly as the process doesn't allow duplication.

Seasonal:

Phoebe releases four seasonal collections per year, responding to what's in flower, using florist waste + foraged flora. These pieces are not always in stock, once the collection is sold out it can not be restocked, however, bespoke orders can be arranged.

Organic Design:

Please note that the photographs of each collection are example pieces, the purchased scarf may differ slightly

A note on natural dye*
